We hope you enjoy reading about Canberra and what it's like to live here.

Kids from Canberra (ACT, Australia) and Livingston (New Jersey, USA) can post comments on this blog to share what it's like living in those cities and what their favourite things are. Everyone will be able to read the posts.

Kids in Canberra can also learn about Livingston by visiting the special page at
Livingston Public Library (where they ask questions you can answer): livingston.bccls.org/test-australia2.html

About Canberra

Canberra is the capital city of Australia. More than 22 million people live in Australia, and over 353,000 of them live in Canberra.

The area now known as Canberra was home to the Ngunnawal people for many thousands of years before the city of Canberra existed.

In the year 2013, Canberra will celebrate its 100th birthday as the capital city.
